A mans daily routine habits tells a lot about his character.
Right intention and kind heart is not enough, he must walk on the right path.
All path either lead to growth and prosperity, or towards destruction.
Up to about mid last year, as much as I fooled myself believing God was in control of my life, I was in full control, not realizing I was leading myself towards destruction. I had developed toxic habits - being hasty, ego driven, impatient, short sighted - that were negatively effecting my life.
As I was reflecting on how far I’ve come and what habits I need to change to become who I am destined to be. I realized during the darkest times in my life, God’s light shined the brightest.
Each challenge I faced, by trusting God, has made me a better version of myself.
I realize now, with purpose and faith, any habits can be changed. Andy Stanley, says it best, in his book “the Principle of the Path” - “it is not your intention but your direction that determines our destination”.
So in order to change my habits, I need to make sure I am walking on the right path, by making right decisions, everyday.
