Every day we have a choice in how our life turns out. Every decision we make will either carry the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
Consciously choosing to make the wrong choices or neglecting the consequences of the choices I make will have the most impact in my life (regret).
To avoid reaping havoc, I create a plan with the focus on what I want a year, 5 year and 10 years from now.
I begin with asking myself: What do I like doing? What am I good at? If money was not an issue, what would I do that would excites me? By answering these questions, I am designing a lifestyle for myself.
Once I have created my plan, I post it somewhere I can see every day, and review it weekly to make sure 1. I am staying on track; 2. Change any part that I feel is not helping me reach my goals.
Everything in our life is a reflection of a choice we have made. If we want a different result, we have to make a different choice.
